The Jones Oyster Co. is a kind of New England oasis in the midst of downtown Greenville, SC.

With a line that grows into a small, hungry army outside its large glass doors, the service team greets you with their signature hush puppies and a drink while you await your table. You might assume the no-reservation policy and long lines would send patrons looking for a safer bet elsewhere — but you would be wrong. Jones is always packed, alive, and full of laughter from noon to sundown.

The editable menu design is the perfect intersection of ethereal design and hands-on practicality. With fresh oysters rotating daily, a format-locked menu allows the restaurant team to update offerings in house without relying on the design team. The crown jewel of the system is the "FRESH OUT" stamp — a fast, fun way for the service team to communicate availability to the guest without killing the mood.

Our design work focused primarily on print: posters, menus, and postcards. However, we are particularly excited about the matchbooks which will be live and onsite in late Fall '26. Designed in partnership with the Table 301 Marketing Team.
